Design review is required for all new construction and additions to establishments in P-1, B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4, B-5, and LIP zoning districts and conditional uses involving commercial activity, but not including establishments used entirely for industrial purposes and structures located in the Bardstown Historic Overlay Zoning District. New construction or expansions with less than 2,000 square feet in gross floor area shall be reviewed through an administrative review process. Projects greater than 2,000 square feet in gross floor area requires review and recommendation by the Development Review Board and final action by the appropriate legislative body.
